Unit appears to function properly however we don?t have forages to test it. Unit comes with manual, moisture chart, 36 sample bags, and a pamphlet from penn state about forages. Unit runs on a 9 volt battery, The FARMEX Model 1210 Silage Tester tests freshly chopped and ensiled silage quickly, providing results in 1 minute. The digital log reading has conversion charts for common silage types. Features: Test freshly chopped and ensiled silage within 1 minute, Digital log reading with conversion chart for common silage types. Testing Range: Silage Moisture Range: 30 - 75%, Grain Moisture Range: 10 - 47%. Accurate Within: 1% for grain at normal stored moisture, 2% (average) for silage under 50% moisture, 3% (average) for silage over 50% moisture. Includes: (36) sample bags, log charts, grain tray, 9-volt battery, thermometer.

Notes: Seller can help arrange shipping at the buyer's expense. Items need to be removed from premises within 30 days unless other arrangement are made with seller.
