DESCRIPTION
IFA Scalper To be Used Above a Roller Mill (NP5748, Unit 040), This IFA Scalper is used above a roller mill, is a device that lies above a mill and below a hopper. Material from the hopper falls into the scalper where a grate screens out oversized foreign matter from the product going into the mill. A rotating rake is used to move the foreign matter off of the grate and out the front of the scalper to keep the scalper from becoming blocked. As an extra safety measure, each scalper is also equipped with a rack of magnets to catch most metal items that might accidentally find their way into the product. The magnet rack can be easily removed for regular cleaning and maintenance. Unit is in good condition.
