DESCRIPTION
Remanufactured Valmar 500 Pull-Type Spreader I-21 (JM476), remanufactured in 2013, 10,000 lb. hopper capacity, fertilizer metering rollers, manual roll tarp, 1,000 RPM PTO, 36 ft. hydraulic fold booms, screen over hopper, quick change axle, stainless steel braces, row crop tires.

Notes: Per the seller: Top Edge was replaced but the bottom of this spreader may need a little attention. This remanufactured Valmar spreader has been used and maintained yearly. This spreader was remanufactured in 2013 and the remanufacturing process consists of: The spreader being sandblasted to bare metal and any frame problems are then repaired. All Valmar 500’s have a two piece hopper with flange and the top 1/2 and bottom 1/2 are bolted together, this is rust spot on all units. We remove the flanges and weld the two halves together using a 4" wide metal band on both the inside and outside, welding both continuously top and bottom. The top sides of the hopper are replaced as needed, as well as any other sections of the hopper that show rust. All are continuously welded. A hopper screen is installed on top of the hopper to keep out clumps of fertilizer; hydraulic boom fold system is added. The following bearings are replaced--fan, drive line, hopper bottoms shaft. Wheel bearings are inspected and replaced if needed. Fertilizer metering rollers are rebuilt with new bearings. We then use a multi-coat primer and paint system that is better than factory paint. It is reassembled with PTO, tarp, air hoses, tires, and decals. This remanufacturing process is designed to make the machine last as long as possible. No one else has done this as well or as much as we have. We were a dealer for Valmar for 32 years and still sell Parts and have tons in stock! Boom extensions 40’ to 44’ available at extra cost through Smith Equipment.
